流行病学教研室现有在编专任教师5人，其中教授2人，副教授2人，讲师1人，另有博士后1人，科研实验人员1人。入选浙江省高校领军人才计划高层次拔尖人才1人、青年优秀人才1人、浙江省万人计划青年拔尖人才1人、浙江省院士结对英才计划1人、浙江省科协“育才工程”培养对象1人、浙江中医药大学“远志优青”1人、“远志优博”1人。
教学方面，目前开设本科生、研究生流行病学相关课程必修课和选修课的教学。开设的课程主要有：《流行病学》《高级流行病学》《公共卫生事件案例分析》《疫苗与免疫》等。其中，《流行病学》荣获第一批省级课程思政示范课程。主编人民卫生出版社《疫苗与免疫》等教材，参编浙江大学出版社《流行病学》（英文版）《医学统计学》《预防医学》《肿瘤分子流行病学》等教材与专著多部。近5年，主持校级教改课题10余项，发表教改论文多篇。
科研方面，承担国家社会科学基金1项、国家自然科学基金面上项目2项、青年项目3项、省部级课题4项、厅局级项目5项、国际合作项目3项、横向课题5项，以第一或通讯作者发表SCI论文100余篇。学科每年招收公共卫生专业硕士、公共卫生与预防医学硕士6-10名，多名研究生荣获学校拔尖创新人才培养对象及优秀毕业生称号。
育人方面，指导本科生荣获全国大学生创新创业项目、“新苗人才计划”、校级学生科研项目10余项，荣获全国中医药院校大学生课外学术作品竞赛二等奖1项，浙江省挑战杯大学生竞赛二等奖1项、三等奖3项，浙江省“民生民意杯”统计调查方案设计大赛二等奖1项、三等奖2项，浙江省大学生生命科学竞赛三等奖1项。指导本科生发表学术论文20余篇。
There are five full-time teachers including two professors, two associate professors and one assistant professor, one postdoctoral fellow and one research personnel at the Department of Epidemiology in Zhejiang Chinese Medical University School of Public Health. They have been selected into the Leading Talent Program and the Young Talent Program of Colleges and Universities in Zhejiang Province, the Ten Thousand Talents Program, the Academician Pairing Program, the Talent Project of Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, "Yuanzhi Youqing" and "Yuanzhi Youbo" of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University.
In terms of teaching, the main compulsory courses and elective courses offered for undergraduate and graduate students include Epidemiology, Advanced Epidemiology, Case Analysis of Public Health Events, Vaccine and Immunization, etc. Among them, Epidemiology won the First Batch of Provincial Ideological and Political Demonstration Courses. The teachers have been involved in text books editing, including Vaccines and Immunization, Epidemiology, Medical Statistics, Preventive Medicine and Molecular Cancer Epidemiology. In the recent five years, they have received over ten projects of education and teaching reform and research, and published several papers related to teaching reform.
In terms of scientific research, the teachers have received fundings from the National Social Science foundation, Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province. They have published more than 100 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author. Every year, they recruit 6-10 master students in public health, and several postgraduate students have won the title of Top Innovative Talent Training Object and Excellent Graduates.
They also have guided undergraduates and received more than ten student projects including National College Students' innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and "new talent plan". The students won the second prize in the National College Students' extracurricular academic works competition of traditional Chinese medicine, one second prize and three third prizes in the “Challenge Cup” College Students Academic and Scientific Work Competition of Zhejiang province, one second prize and two third prizes in the Zhejiang "People's livelihood, public opinion Cup" Statistical Survey Design Competition, one third prize in Zhejiang college students' Life Science Competition. They also have guided undergraduates and published more than 20 papers.
